Proof that Minecraft mobs need to be refreshed. The players show their abilities

What do the refreshed mob models from Minecraft look like, which do not differ a lot from the classic prototypes?

You can find many types of creatures in Minecraft, and numerous modifications that appear on the web are able to significantly improve their number. Most mobs have been in the game since the game’s early updates, and their appearance has either not changed at all or have only received minor fixes.

One of the players decided to release a pack that refreshes the appearance of older mobs. What do they look like after the installation?

Refreshed Minecraft mobs

A user with the nickname Zink_Enite shared some screenshots that show the new look of the older Minecraft mobs. Although a lot of details have been added to them, these are still very easy to recognize by the characteristic appearance of each of them.

Mobs, such as the Glow Squid, the drowned, and the Enderman, received a characteristic glow, which gives these mobs a special vibe.

The skeleton, on the other hand, has received a quiver, and its ribs and skull can now be covered with moss or sand, depending on the biome in which the mob spawns.

The spider also received a new model. Its legs are now longer and bent, and the jaw has been expanded with additional polygons. This makes the creature look much more realistic, and some players will admit that the sight of it is terrifying.

As a person with aracnophobia the spider one makes me wanna take a piss imidiately

The dragon’s eyes now glow similarly to Enderman’s.

Aggressive mobs weren’t the only ones to get new models. The author of the pack also decided to take care of animals that can be found in Minecraft.

The commentators really appreciated that the new models do not differ far from what can be found in a game known to all fans for years. In one of the responses, the author admitted that he wanted to maintain the atmosphere of the original Minecraft.

thanks, I tried to change the models but keep the vanilla feel.

Zink_Enite also shared a link where you can find the pack.

The shaders that were used for underwater screenshots are called SEUS, while for the ones on the surface, it was a BSL Shaders pack.
