Why should a new character category appear in LoL? Seraphine is a good example

Should a new category be created in LoL next to the ADC? Seraphine as an example of APC.

Currently, in League of Legends, characters are divided into 5 roles. They are toplaners, midlaners, junglers, supports, and adc. Some people suggest the creation of a new category, i.e. APC.

It is to include, inter alia, Seraphine. A character intended for the mid lane and as a support, she currently performs well as a damaging mage on the bot. However, it is not an ADC, but an APC.

APC Seraphine

One of the weirdest roles in League of Legends, aside from the jungle, is the ADC position. While it is primarily intended for ranged and AD damage heroes, it is often the case that mages like Syndra, Ziggs, Vel’Koz, and now Seraphine are also playable there.

However, in the LoL client, it’s hard to find a mention of a role like AP Carry that could describe mages on the bot. For this reason, part of the community is asking for the introduction of a new “APC” role that would give a clear indication to players that this hero can be played on bot and is a mage.

One little problem arises. For example, Seraphine is strong at the moment and as APC she wins around 52% of her games. However, this state may change after the next update, and Riot will have to update the hero status.

However, the developers can introduce a system that works based on the choice of players. This can, however, be complicated due to the build of the client. At least that can be concluded from statements of employees responding to players’ new ideas.
