Records in the number of bans are just being broken in LoL. Recent changes have made it exceed 70%
Bel’Veth is way too strong? Wins 54% of matches and is banned in 70% of matches.
In early June, a new heroine straight from the Void hit League of Legends. Bel’Veth is very popular among players, but not only when choosing. She is also very often banned.
For this reason, playing her is not that easy. However, it is hardly surprising that the community does not want to see her in her matches. The character wins over 54% of them.
Bel’Veth a bit exaggerated?
Usually, the new characters that make their way into League of Legends are either too weak or too strong. Bel’Veth is an example of the latter, and this is not entirely to the liking of the community. Currently, she wins 54% of matches above platinum and even 57% in Master and Challenger. Additionally, she is banned in about 70% of matches.
Rank | WinRate % | BanRate % |
---|---|---|
Iron | 53% | 53% |
Bronze | 54% | 59% |
Silver | 55% | 65% |
Gold | 54% | 69% |
Platinum | 53% | 69% |
Diamond | 53% | 64% |
Master | 57% | 56% |
Grandmaster | 54% | 54% |
Challenger | 57% | 55% |
In the recent 12.12 update, it was decided to weaken her a bit. The creators decided to increase the range of the attack, but the statistics related to health regeneration were lowered. Additionally, the passives, the Royal Whirlwind, and the Endless Banquet have been weakened. As you can see, it wasn’t enough, and she’s still way too strong. She’s likely to have more fixes in patch 12.13, but this one won’t be released until July 13th.
Perhaps Riot Games will decide on an earlier hotfix, but at the moment there is no information that this will happen.
