More information about Riot’s new brawler “Project L”. Introducing the gameplay, characters and more

Riot Games has just released more information on its new brawler “Project L.”

Riot Games has been working on its first brawler game for several years. However, until now there has been really little information about it. Now they have decided to say a little more about this mysterious and interesting project.

The developers decided to reveal, among other things, what the gameplay will look like and in what system it will be available. In addition, some interesting gameplay using a couple of heroes from LoL was made available.

More information about Project L

Project L, as the name suggests, is one of the projects of the creators of League of Legends. It will be a Tekken-like brawler, but in the “tag team” system, that is, the player’s team will consist of two heroes. Here it is worth noting that in the beginning it was planned to be a simple 1 v 1, rather than a group fight. The whole thing will be made available to players completely free of charge. Now the community could learn that, according to the plans, the characters’ skills are to be strong and fast, and the gameplay will be smooth and dynamic. Features announced include:

  • Walking,
  • Running,
  • Jumping,
  • Multiple jumping,
  • Long-distance jumping,
  • Super jump,
  • Combo breaker,
  • Unique skills in the air depending on the character.

The game won’t be so easy either. Although the beginning of the production is supposed to be pleasant, mastering the title will bring results. There are so many options for performing a combo, swapping with another character, and countering, that there will certainly be something to learn. At least, that’s what the developers promise.
