Leakers are reporting on a map that Epic is working on. It is reportedly not due to appear until Season 5 of Chapter 3.
It is known that Epic is working on various things at the moment. The priority, of course, is the next season – the developers are rumored to have 2 updates ready, which will appear in season 4. Meanwhile, information about a new map has appeared in leaks.
The map is to be called “Asteria.” At first, it seemed that it could even be about a completely new island, which will replace the current one. However, there is a rather small chance of this happening, and everyone is aware of it.
Why is this map being created?
Leakers believe that this map will be dedicated to Creative Mode. Recall that this one is undergoing huge changes to bring it in line with version 2.0.
The map is already being tested by some developers – if the information is true, it is likely that Asteria will indeed come to Fortnite in the next few months. HYPEX is talking about season 5, so it’s more likely to be planned for the end of this year.
