It’s about having a crush. The above entry leaves no doubt that this may be exactly what it is. Many people interpret this as a small hint for creating a new type of relationship between Sims.
Is there anything to count on? Yes, there is a good chance that the developers of the game even took care of introducing a completely new type of relationship that would suit the environment of teenagers and high school adventures. Moreover, such a feature would officially appear in the base game thanks to the full update, such as shaving.
