LoL patch 12.8 – Who gets nerfs and who gets buffs? We know Riot’s plans for the next update

League of Legends

The creators of League of Legends shared information about what the next League of Legends update will bring.

The time has come to unveil the plans for the upcoming League of Legends update 12.8. The most important information is presented in the form of a list.

According to the official schedule, patch 12.8 is expected to hit the servers on April 27, 2022. What is known from the initial announcements about buffs and nerfs?

The buffs and nerfs for patch 12.8

As with every patch, one of the Rioters – Riot Phlox – has released a draft list of the changes to be expected in Update 12.8 for League of Legends. This time the list is quite interesting as it only includes champions. It is not known if this means that the developers will only focus on them, or if the changes to items and runes are not yet disclosed.

It is worth paying attention to the long list of buffs for as many as 16 heroes. Among them there are, among others Zeri, whose situation hasn’t looked too good recently (see: Riot admits they went overboard with nerfs. After 48 hours, they have to save this LoL character).

Chmapions’ buffs

  • Mordekaiser,
  • Aatrox,
  • Vladimir,
  • Poppy,
  • Sejuani,
  • Fiddlesticks,
  • Zoe,
  • Kassadin,
  • Vel’Koz,
  • Xerath,
  • Sylas,
  • Ezreal,
  • Tristana,
  • Jhin,
  • Bard,
  • Seraphine.

Chmapions’ nerfs

  • Pyke,
  • Soraka,
  • Jinx,
  • Xayah.

Champions’ changes

  • AP Kai’Sa,
  • Swain.

It is worth paying attention to the announced changes of champions. Among the two characters given by Rioter is AP Kai’Sa, who has recently spread terror on both ARAMs and Summoner’s Rift. The heroine built for ability power appeared on the streams of many famous players, and her W – Void Seeker – was causing such havoc that many players hailed it a broken skill (see: More proof of how strong Kai’Sa from LoL can be. Pentakill without much effort).
