The time for completing LoL Milestones missions has been changed on the test servers. Will it be harder?

League of Legends

Players will have less time to complete all Milestones of the next pass.

A few days ago, the creators of League of Legends revealed the appearance of several new skins that will be available in the game soon. It turns out that Riot wants to return to the Eclipse series, which first appeared on November 27, 2018 with the release of Solar and Lunar Eclipse Leona. Nobody developed this theme for a long time until now. In the upcoming event, not only the legendary skin for Sivir, which refers to the aforementioned Leona (What does the new Solar Eclipse Sivir have in common with the Leona skin? The creators of LoL surprised with a new synergy) will be added to the game, but also a second Prestige skin for Senna.

New skins, chromas, wards, and emotes are not everything, as the game will also include other content, such as Eclipse capsules. It turns out, however, that Riot has some changes planned when it comes to the upcoming event. How will it be different from the previous ones? Some players fear that the announced changes will have an impact on the community, as it will be much more difficult to unlock additional items.

How fast will you need to complete the missions?

It is already known that the next event will be related to the skins described above. Players are used to the fact that events during which they can buy a pass and earn tokens to unlock unique content last two updates, i.e. about a month. Files from test servers suggest that this will change soon.

Until now, players had to complete missions called Milestones in each pass, and each of them provided corresponding rewards. This, in turn, allowed to accumulate a large amount of loot with the help of the quests alone. The updated event start and end times that appeared on the PBE show that players will have half the usual time, according to the screenshot below.

The two-week period for completing all missions that the screenshot above suggests goes against how Riot describes the passes. The official description states that players have about 2 patches to complete the Milestone quests and claim their rewards.

With the recent changes to Masterwork Chests, not completing all missions will be even more painful for players who have purchased the pass. Of course, the changes have so far only hit the test servers, and there is still a lot of time until the actual start of the event.
