The new Debonair 2021 event has just appeared in LoL.
The last event in 2021 came to League of Legends with a slight delay. Players were given the opportunity to purchase both the pass, new skins, and other limited content.
The whole event will last until January 11, 2022, and during this time players will be able to complete various missions to earn tokens and other rewards. What do you need to know about the event?
Debonair 2021
The soiree begins on December 9, 2021 at 1:00 PM PT and will continue until January 10, 2022 at 11:59 PM PT. Missions will unlock at the start of this posh and swingin’ party and will likewise end January 10, 2022 at 11:59 PM PT—though our esteemed guests will be able to spend tokens until January 17, 2022 at 1:00 PM PT.

Slippery and lethal like the venomous viper he styles himself after, the Master of Shadows (and assassins), Debonair Zed [Legendary] skin arrives in Store on December 9, 2021 at 1:00 PM PT and will be available for 1820 RP. Just be sure to keep the sparkling beverages and five-star service coming!
Debonair 2021 Pass & Pass Bundle
Premiere access to this elite affair isn’t free, however! The Debonair 2021 Event Pass (1650 RP) and Debonair 2021 Event Pass Bundle (2650 RP) will be available for purchase beginning December 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. PT. The standard Debonair 2021 Event Pass includes your Event Pass, 4 Debonair 2021 Orbs, and 200 Debonair 2021 Tokens. The Debonair 2021 Event Pass Bundle contains all the items mentioned above, as well as the Debonair Brand Icon, Debonair Brand Skin, and Brand Champion.

Missions
It’s Debonair versus the deviants of Crime City! Demolish the rabble of the underground beginning December 9, 1:00 p.m. PT through January 10, 2022 at 11:59 PM PT. The following missions will unlock for Pass holders, with some missions available for non-Pass holders.
IMPORTANT
Traditionally, Missions have had either specific objectives—like “place 3 wards”—or general objectives which are meant to let players make event progress simply by playing a game of League or Teamfight Tactics. Missions often rely on a mix of specific and general objectives to always keep players moving forward through the event, even passively!
But Debonair brings sweeping changes to the way we handle general Mission objectives (the passive kind). To ensure that we better respect and value a player’s time investment in League and TFT, we’ve developed a standard format for more time-based progress that for the rest of this article we’ll refer to as “Objective Points.”
Tl;dr : You’ll get points based on how long you’re in game and get more points if you win.
This change does not mean missions will be harder to complete and clear. In fact, it’ll probably be easier for most players.
Here’s the new math:

For example: For a 30 minute SR, PvP game that ends in a loss, a player will earn 120 Objective Points. For winning that same game, a player will earn 180 Objective Points.
MILESTONE MISSIONS: EVENT PASS REQUIRED
The following objectives and rewards apply to matchmade games only. Debonair Milestone Missions can only be completed in order, 1 – 10, by completing the previous objective.

Ultimate Spellbook
Ultimate Spellbook has been around since November 18, 2021 at 1:00 PM PT and will depart with sweet sorrow on January 10, 2022 at 11:59 PM PT.
Here are some of the highlights:
- More Ultimates (new Ults for Patch 11.24 have been bolded)
- The Objective Bounty system present in classic Summoner’s Rift comes to Ultimate Spellbook but will activate earlier than in games of SR.
- If you use a custom item set with Ultimate Spellbook that contains an Emberknife or Hailblade in it, those will now appear as Obsidian Edge.
- Chemtech and Hextech Dragons have made their debut and are the only two dragons featured this time around.
- Junglers can now have both their bonus Ultimate and Flash! In Ultimate Spellbook, Junglers can now take an Attack-Smite Summoner Spell (newly renamed to address player confusion!) that will both change into a champion’s ultimate and grant a passive Smite: If your attacks leave an epic, crab, or allied buff monster with less than Smite’s damage, Smite will finish them off.
- Arcane-themed map accents.
