This game copied the skins from Fortnite. Now it may have big problems with Epic

One Battle Royale game stated that there was nothing wrong with copying a few skins that were added to Fortnite.

Fortnite has been inspired by other productions many times, but there is a difference between inspiration and a direct copy. Free Fire included a few cosmetic items in its trailer that very much resemble Fortnite skins.

Which skins were plagiarized?

Skins are only included in the trailer, but thanks to it you can recognize which of them are “inspired” by those from Fortnite.

Does this mean a lawsuit? In theory yes, in practice it is difficult to say. The whole thing here is about the game “Free Fire”. IT is of course tied to Tencent, which in turn owns Epic. Free Fire was created by Garena, and Tencent owns approximately 20% of its shares.

There is a good chance that the “top” will just get along or it has already done so. It is hard to imagine that any game under Tencent would copy another production in their portfolio simply without permission. On the other hand, the lawsuit between Epic and PUBG was real, and in fact, there was a battle back then.
