Epic continues its annual tradition.
So far, nothing amazing has happened in Fortnite for the new year. There is no information about free items or any gifts. The store is definitely interesting today because it includes Cobra Kai skins, but that’s basically it. There are also items strictly related to the new year.
As for the game itself, we have very much standard stuff. In full hours you will see a huge disco ball appearing above the island.

Youtubers informed that these 2022-themed items will be free – again it turned out that this is not the case at all. You have to pay for everything as usual.
The game will be accompanied by a small fireworks display all day long. It is not a big deal, everyone who has been playing for at least a year knows it very well.
Better than nothing at all. On the other hand, Epic could try and introduce some additional challenges for which you could get a backpack, glider, or anything. After all, free gliders were given out once, and it was precisely for the new year.
