Among Us cosmetic items will be incredibly expensive for Fortnite. Epic just lost a lot of money due to an exploit.
It’s very possible that V-Bucks will be withdrawn from players’ accounts, but in fact, there was an exploit in Fortnite that allowed you to buy tons of V-Bucks for ridiculous money. It was updated fairly quickly, but people were able to take advantage of it.
You shouldn’t expect any bans, but Epic might take away V-Bucks earned this way. It’s not a joke anymore, because the record holders were able to get 100,000 out of it for a few bucks.
V-Bucks exploit
HYPEX itself took advantage of it and, as he writes, managed to get 70,000 V-Bucks for 60 dollars.
Why was this even possible? Epic wanted to return people 600 V-Bucks in case they already had the Among Us cosmetic items. People abused this system and recharged it every now and then, getting a refund of 600 V-Bucks.
Currently, there are two ways to get items from Among. Either buy Among Us through the Epic Store or top up your points for $ 2.
The exploit has now been fixed, but you can still get items this way.
