Fortnite players have noticed that Epic has made a difference to material gathering.
Epic didn’t seem to mention it anywhere, but some items on the map that you can gather materials from were nerfed. This is sometimes quite annoying, because people count on several dozen pieces of, for example, wood, and they get much less.
It may be a bug, but Epic has yet to comment on this. The most annoying are wooden pallets, with very few mats falling out.
A strange nerf from Epic
As shown by the players, after destroying a large pallet, you get up to 10 wood. This is much less than it used to be. So little that it is more profitable to destroy a small pallet, from which you get more.

Why does it look like this? Hard to say. It’s very possible that Epic will take this back in some way, as it doesn’t make much sense right now.
