It’s worth paying attention to this setting in CSGO. Even s1mple missed it while playing

Some settings in CS: GO seem inconspicuous, but they can literally ruin the gameplay.

Even experienced Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players may not know that some settings in the game are really important, although usually nobody pays attention to them.

A great example here is “Maximum Acceptable Game Traffic Bandwidth”, which, for s1mple, the best player in the world, was set wrong and as a result caused technical problems.

How should the game traffic bandwidth be set in CS: GO?

The screenshot below is from s1mple’s broadcast, where the player had technical problems. As it turned out – these were caused by the maximum limited bandwidth, as a result of which choke problems or in some cases, packet loss appeared.

You should pay attention to this setting and adjust it to your network connection. As GuardiaN, a Major winner and one of the CS: GO legends, advises, set this value to “Unlimited” if the connection is really good.

Other Counter-Strike players also faced similar problems:

As you can see – even as an experienced Counter-Strike player, you can sometimes overlook something and face big problems in the game where the solution is really simple.
