Dark skins in CS: GO could look really great. This is proved by the black AWP project.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive developers don’t add too many dark skins to the game. The overwhelming part of them are just bright or made in very colorful colors, and it’s hard to find darker skins. One of the CS community members created a black-style AWP that looks really great. Why couldn’t there be more of this type of project?

In the clip below you can see what AWP Dark Twist looks like. The rifle looks really great and its main charm is the fact that it is definitely different from other skins. You can increase the chance of it being added to the game by voting for it on the Steam Workshop.
There aren’t many dark or just black skins in CS: GO, and they would certainly find their fanatics. One of the most popular alternatives to such a skin in CS is AK-47 Redline or UMP-45 Carbon fiber:
Black AWP met with great enthusiasm from the CS: GO community, which can be seen, for example, by the number of votes on Reddit, which is over 2000. Unfortunately, many such projects are unlikely to enter the game in the near future, because the community is not completely convinced of them. Some people like it, but some think it’s just boring. Additionally, dark skins exist on the Steam Market and are not very popular:
At the moment, the biggest trend is for colored skins and it is probably not going to change soon.
