Few CSGO players know that you don’t necessarily have to be bored while waiting in the queue

A lot of CS: GO players don’t know they can wait for the MM by playing a deathmatch or retake.
The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive community often complains that the waiting time for a match is too long. Most at this time are checking the phone or doing absolutely nothing, while not knowing that you can play a deathmatch or retake during this time.
There is a very simple way to do this that you just have to see to learn. What is it about?
How to play a DM or retake while in a queue?
The waiting time for your turn can be used for training. It really comes down to a few simple steps, which are described below:
- Search for a suitable server in the community search engine.
- Copy its IP address (you can do it by right-clicking on it, then “Show information”, select the address there and click “Copy”).
- Start the queue waiting for the match.
- Turn on the console, which is by default under the tilde (“~”), and enter the following command together with the pasted server IP address:
connect (IP)
One of the CS: GO streamers presented this method on his broadcast. You can watch it below:

There are situations when the waiting time for a match is up to 5-10 minutes, so it is good to spend this time just training in order to join the match warmed up.
