The Mythic Essence Store from LoL has appeared on the PBE. What can you buy in it? What skins will come back?

League of Legends

The announced store for the new currency finally appeared on the test server. What are its contents?

Mythic Essence is a new currency in League of Legends. It is not on live servers yet but has already been rolled out on PBE.

Some time ago, Riot announced that the Prestige Points system would be rebuilt. The Last Chance Prestige Store (which is currently active) has been added to the game as PP will be withdrawn on March 24, 2022.

Mythic Essence will replace the known Prestige Points and it will be possible to earn it in future passes. What will you be able to spend it on?

Mythic Essence in League of Legends

A while back, one Rioter revealed that future League of Legends passes will offer Mythic Essence, just like they did with Prestige Points:

Passes will allow you to get 25 Mythic Essence, and the option to buy 100 will appear in the store for tokens. There are some variations that we are exploring in the store, but we are currently in favor of this solution.

There have been voices in the community that certain skins will return to the store for this occasion, and players will be able to get them if they have missed this opportunity in the past.

The Mythic Essence Store has appeared on the test server, which offers not only skins, but also other interesting content. Among the cosmetic additives in the offer, you can see, among others K/DA Kai’Sa, PROJECT: Irelia, or Pulsefire Thresh.

For Mythic Essence, you will also be able to purchase Hextech skins, a random skin shard or Blue and Orange Essences.

According to the information, the content of the store will change from time to time. You can read which patch the next skin rotation will be in just under the name of the store.

As you can see, Prestige skins can be obtained for 150 Mythic Essence and Hextech for 100.

The new system has already received negative feedback as many players feel it is being disadvantageous to the community – The new pass system from League of Legends weakens them once again. What did the players notice?

Nevertheless, some people will surely be happy to be able to unlock the skins they’ve always dreamed of. It is true that Prestige skins have always been obtained from Hextech boxes, but the chance that one of them will drop was really small.
