Song of this year’s League of Legends World Cup – Burn It All Down
Today the premiere of the song related to Worlds 2021 took place. What is the music video for the new song?
The League of Legends World Cup is a big event. Every year, the eyes of hundreds of thousands of players are turned towards professionals. However, Worlds is not only about e-sport but everything around the event – a spectacular opening of the ceremony, an event in the game itself and a theme song.
The latter, which this year is called “Burn It All Down”, premiered a music video today. As every year, the animation presents various professional players who are shown in dynamic and spectacular scenes.
League of Legends Championship 2021 – Burn It All Down
The song is 3 minutes and 32 seconds long. It’s called “Burn it All Down” and you can hear vocals from the PVRIS pop group.
Even though the beginning seems fairly calm, the action spins quickly and you can see the professionals fighting each other in a moment. It’s a kind of tradition of music videos that promote the LoL World Cup. The animation, as always, is at a high level and really pleases the eye.
The music video shows many interesting faces, including people who did not qualify for this year’s Worlds. One of the players decided to list all the players who appeared in the animated version:
- Heo “Showmaker” Su (DWG KIA),
- Cho “BeryL” Geon-hee (DWG KIA),
- Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu (DWG KIA),
- Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon (Hanwha Life Esports),
- Hong “Pyosik” Chang-hyeon (DRX),

- Kang “TheShy” Seung-lok (Invictus Gaming),

- Robert “Blaber” Huang (Cloud9),
- Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage (TSM),
- Felipe “brTT” Gonçalves (paiN Gaming),
- Francisco Natan “fNb” Braz (Vorax).
As you can see, the list is really long.
It is also worth noting that, unlike the World Cup in previous years, no music event related to the bands from the Runeterra universe was organized in 2021. In recent years, music groups such as K/DA (both for the first time and on the new album) and True Damage debuted on the occasion of Worlds.
The song “Burn it All Down” is now available to listen to on multiple platforms (Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music and so on), and the YouTube music video has almost 2 million views.
