How to efficently use the power of Miss Fortune in Update 11.19?
Miss Fortune is one of the most popular characters in the bot lane shooter role. Currently, she is doing really well – her win rate is over 52% and the pick rate is 15%. However, she is banned in 2% of the games.
The rune that players have almost always decided on is Press the Attack, because it works great with Q – Double Up. In patch 11.19, however, players from the Korean Challenger often choose Arcane Comet. What could be the reason for this trend?
Miss Fortune with Arcane Comet
First, it’s worth mentioning the buffs Miss Fortune received in Update 11.18. Increased the number of waves fired from the ult, which translates into the amount of damage the ability deals. The heroine’s popularity grew after the release of the previous patch and continues to grow after the 11.19 update.
The problem that Miss Fortune has had to deal with since the preseason 10.23 update is that she doesn’t fit well with items that rely on critical hits. By choosing items that provide this statistic, the heroine will not have a lot of attack speed, which means that she will not be able to fully use Press the Attack. For this reason, players began to use the Arcane Comet rune, which allows to deal much more damage to opponents in the line phase.
Since MF with this build focuses on hitting opponents in the early game, players choose the Sorcery tree with Arcane Comet, Manaflow Band, Absolute Focus, and Scoarch runes. The second path could be Inspiration with runes like Magical Footwear and Biscuit Delivery or Domination with Taste of Blood and Ravenous Hunter.
When it comes to items, the Eclipse is a great choice right from the start because of how easily the heroine is able to activate her shield. Youmuu’s Ghostblade buffs in patch 11.17 made this a must-have item in Miss Fortune’s inventory. Later in the game, Serylda’s Grudge or Serpent’s Fang can be great items to counter your opponents.
It can be said that Miss Fortune has been gaining popularity on Korean servers since Update 11.18, which made her stronger. Her early and mid game situation improved significantly thanks to the Lethality-based build and the Arcane Comet rune.
