Riot wanted to remove support from solo lines at LoL, and led to gold losses on bot

Riot’s temporary solution brought problems down to the bottom lane.
Supporters have dominated League of Legends for the past few weeks. However, not in bot lane with the shooter, but on TOP. Both Riot and the confused players did not quite like it.
Therefore, on Wednesday, February 16, update 12.4 appeared on the official servers, in which the problem was resolved. Unfortunately, a new one was created, this time concerning the correct line of supports.
Temporary trouble
Developers introduced a temporary solution to LoL to completely get rid of top lane supports. They spoiled the game by constant roaming and presence in virtually every place on the map from the first minutes of the match. Therefore, the support item was nerfed a lot.
The problem is reducing the number of minions that can be eliminated without penalty. In combination with an item with a “Spoils of War” passive, it may turn out that a player will lose gold instead of gaining it. While the sum is not very large, even the Control Ward makes a difference early in the game.
What is it actually about? Well, up to 5 minutes, the supporter can only take the minions allowed by “Spoils of War”. If he captures one or two additional ones, he will be penalized and will receive significantly less gold for eliminating minions. Such situations happen when the shooter has had problems and had to return to base, and the support wants to hold the line and finish the creep.
With this debuff, support items partially stop working. This means that instead of full gold for the minion, you only get a few gold pieces (the other player gets the full value). This also applies to big minions, which is completely unprofitable and delays upgrading items.
The community proposes another solution. Namely, since the farm reward limitation has already been introduced, if there are two support items in the game, it is a good idea to apply that to Spoils of War as well.
Players do not understand why this restriction is imposed if there is only one support in the match. Perhaps this will be changed in the next update, but at the moment no employee has commented on the topic.
