Emotes appeared in League of Legends 5 years ago, but many champions still didn’t get their own one

League of Legends

Which League of Legends characters haven’t received their emote yet?

Emotes are an enrichment that, at least initially, not everyone was convinced by. A large part of the community felt that the add-on was simply unnecessary. Even so, many champions have already received their emotes, and their fans often collect them for the sake of having everything related to their favorite champion.

However, not everyone can enjoy the addition of an emote. Even though they entered League of Legends 5 years ago, they didn’t receive the emote associated with them. Who wasn’t very lucky?

Which champions don’t have emotes?

A user with the nickname Clockwork_Windup decided to check which heroes did not have their emotes and made a list, excluding the newest character – Zeri and the upcoming one – Renata.

  • Aurelion Sol,

As many as 44 out of 158 heroes (excluding only Renata and Zeri) do not have emotes. Riot will certainly try to reduce this number over time, but a relatively large proportion of the community may be unhappy that their favorite character has not been included in this small expansion.

Of course, not every hero fits every emote. Riot tries to capture many characteristic situations or memes and sometimes you can tell at first glance which champion will best relate to the original.
