Riot tries to weaken Rek’Sai, while it is of little use. The heroine continues to cause problems

The weakening of the Fury of the Void hasn’t quite worked. It is still very strong.

Rek’Sai has been dominating League of Legends for more than 5 patches now. Her popularity has grown strongly over that time, and this should hardly surprise anyone since she was in the meta.

Almost a week ago, update 12.19 was rolled out to the official servers and it nerfed the havoc-wreaking Fury of the Void. This, however, apparently did nothing.

Rek’Sai nerf

If something is strong, then rather quickly this state of affairs should be changed and the character weakened. Sometimes, however, Riot Games fails to live up to its responsibilities or has a different opinion than the players. Such was the case with Rek’Sai, about which the Internet was buzzing for weeks.

However, on October 5, minor changes made their way to League of Legends, and they were literally minor. It was decided that at 52.6% WR, it was enough to take away 3 AD from her in the early game. This, unfortunately, probably wasn’t enough, and she now wins 52.3% of games.

Perhaps there are other reasons for this, too, and not necessarily the nerf. It can be noted that players are not as scared of her, at least to some extent. This can be evidenced by the drop in banrate. Players who don’t quite know how to play her decided to give her a try and found out that nerfs aren’t that strong.

The second, and more likely reason, is the decline in players, or PickRate. Only experienced players and mains are playing her, so other players do not undercut her match-winning rate.
