Riot Phreak with bitter words to LoL players who criticize Yone and Yasuo buffs

The caster speaks about two controversial heroes. What does he think about the fixes in patch 12.2?

The Yone and Yasuo brothers are one of the most common topics of debate that you can encounter in the League of Legends community. The heroes arouse a lot of controversy due to the skill sets containing characteristic mechanics. Even though the champions are doing average at best, the players still don’t like playing against them.

Some people directly complain that the brothers are too strong, and Riot favors them by issuing buffs in Update 12.2.

Phreak about the famous brothers from LoL

The caster, on his Youtube channel, runs a series with detailed overviews of the update lists. He accurately describes all the changes that have occurred in the given patch. It was no different in the case of update 12.2, which appeared on the live servers on January 20. Some of the characters affected by the changes were Yone and Yasuo (Patch 12.2 description in League of Legends).

When he talked about Samir, where the reason for the buffs was the same as the aforementioned brothers, he referred to the numerous comments made by players, also on Reddit.

Immortal Shieldbow went down by 1,5-2% winrate, and there are some champions who went down to 47% winrate. And I know that Reddit loves to bit** and whine about the wind bros. “They get so much design help”, “They keep looking at them”, “Riot’s playing favourites”

Listen, these champions sit at like 48% winrate at all times. Like, they overall winrate’s actually low. Riot “playing favourites” is keeping their winrates low which means, when the do get nerfed, their winrate drops down so much that they need to be buffed back up.

That’s what’s actually happening, by the way. There is a bunch of these champions that have like 48% winrates that people consider them Riot favourites, but no, they are just bad. Like, I’m sorry that you’re not good against them, but they’re not actually very strong champions. So deal with it.

There are a few characters in LoL that will be perceived as too strong by part of the community as their skill set can be annoying to play against. The issue of Yone and his E has also been raised recently (An issue that LoL players see in Yone. What’s wrong with the hero?).

Some fans, no matter what condition these characters are in, will be asking for their nerfs and sometimes even removing them. However, it’s hard to expect that Riot will take these requests seriously and listen to this part of the community.
