Riot has changed the splash art of Sivir. The new version has a very specific reference

A well-known heroine from LoL has lived to see a new portrait. What does she look like?

Sivir is one of the oldest characters from League of Legends. She appeared in the game on February 21, 2009, and, thanks to her low price, virtually every player has her. For many, she was one of the first ADCs they played.

There is much to talk about Sivir, as she has changed over the years, getting portrait updates, splash art skins, new cosmetic additions, and more. The topic has returned, as it was announced that the heroine will receive a brand new basic splash. Fans said the artwork is clearly reminiscent of another Riot’s game.

New splash art of Sivir from League of Legends

Sivir’s current splash art, which features the heroine in a very dynamic pose, was considered by many to be rather strange and unnatural. At one time, people laughed at her facial expressions, claiming that at first glance she appeared to have rabbit teeth.

Over the years, players have become accustomed to the basic look of the character, and here it appears that Riot has prepared an update.

Sivir in Legends of Runeterra:

Nowy splash art bohaterki przedstawia ją w zupełnie innej pozie. Posiada też bardziej rozbudowane i ciekawsze tło, co według wielu najlepiej odróżnia stare grafiki od tych nowszych. Fani zauważyli również, że strój postaci jest nieco inny, przez co bardziej nawiązuje do jej wyglądu w karciance od Riotu – Legends of Runeterra.

When you look at the graphics from both games, you’ll notice that they’re distinguished from the old portrait by a more covering outfit, which is kept in dark colors and the gold elements are only contrasting additions, the decoration on the head, which is now enlarged and reaches much higher, the legs are covered by high boots, and in addition, the new splash in League of Legends depicts the heroine’s weapon, the Chalicar, in much more detail.
