LoL patch 13.9 – Who will get nerfs and who will get buffs? We know Riot’s plans for the next update

League of Legends developers have revealed plans for the upcoming update – patch 13.9.

Patch 13.9 will soon be released to the game, so it’s time to share the general list of changes that will hit the game as part of the update. From early previews, it appears that this will not be an extensive list, and the balance changes themselves are not expected to be particularly severe.

All this is due to the fact that for the next patch (13.10) Riot is planning much bigger changes to its characters. What is the general list of characters and items that will appear in the upcoming League of Legends update?

Buffs and nerfs in patch 13.9

Usually, it was Matt Leung-Harrison, better known as Riot Phroxzon, who published the list of changes to come to League of Legends. This time, however, the Rioter is not available, so information about the update was released by another employee.

From his statement, it seems that patch 13.9 will be a small one, as the developers are preparing for a much larger update – 13.10, which will also be the biggest patch since the beginning of this season.

The patch described (13.9) lightly balances some champions who needed minor tweaks. The biggest of the changes is expected to affect Kayle and Neeko.

This is the specific list of characters that will appear in the upcoming update:

Champions’ buffs

  • Aatrox,
  • Volibear,
  • Amumu,
  • Swain,
  • Trundle.

Champions’ nerfs

  • Sion,
  • Jinx.

Champions’ changes

  • Neeko,
  • Bel’Veth,
  • Taliyah,
  • Kayle.

System’s changes

  • Lich Bane.
