LoL players are complaining about rotating modes that keep coming back in the game. What bothers them the most?

The community wonders why Riot is keep bringing back the same modes that many say are just boring.

The discussion of rotating modes in League of Legends returns regularly. Many players do not understand why the developers gave up various and interesting modes on maps other than Summoner’s Rift. So far, Riot has made a lot of different versions of the gameplay – Ascension, Legend of the Poro King, Definitely Not Dominion, Hexakill, and many, many more. Unfortunately, for some time now, practically the same thing has returned, which is starting to irritate LoL community.

Rotating game modes problem

Some time ago, a thread appeared related to the lack of PvE games in LoL, such as Doom Bots of Doom, Invasion or Odyssey: Extraction. The creators then stated that these modes will not come back, because according to statistics, they simply do not arouse sufficient interest and hardly anyone wants to play them.

Many fans were disappointed to see that Riot not only gave up on PvE-focused events but also abandoned modes that take place on maps other than Summoner’s Rift.

The community believes that this is not a good approach, because constantly playing on the same map is just boring and does not bring any freshness.

It doesn’t help that some of the modes on Summoner’s Rift involve random heroes or gameplay that is often done before the game even started because one of the teams simply has better heroes.

I cannot understand how this absolute garbage known as OFA keeps coming back or retaining players while blitz doesn’t. OFA is fun for all of 5 seconds in champ select and then you’re stuck playing some garbage you absolutely fucking hate in an one-sided stomp every single game, while in blitz you have all these fun minigames and you actually get to pick your champion. Zero idea why this god forsaken community supports one and not the other.

The fact that in the year 2022 there is no other map/game mode where you can SELECT YOUR OWN CHAMP other than summoner rift, is incredible.

It is true that One for All is a mode in which players vote for a specific hero, but most people know that without premade it is really difficult to break through with an unusual pick. Champions are repeated quite quickly in this type of competition because many people do not care about the variety of the game, but about an easy victory.

It was recently announced that a randomized UFR has returned to the PBE, which has again failed some of the community. Not only does this mode play out on Summoner’s Rift, it again doesn’t offer full character selection, which is something a lot of fans just miss.

Players would like to play something that actually differs from normal or ranked games. The ability to choose a favorite hero is also of great importance for many people.
