Big changes in LoL. Riot will change all characters, reduce healing and shields by 10%, and change turrets

League of Legends

League of Legends developers are trying to slow down the pace of games and make big changes in patch 12.10.

We have been reporting for several weeks that Riot plans to turn LoL upside down. Now it is officially known how. Once again, the information that everyone took to be abstract has been confirmed. Developers sent their partners a special document with the changes described. All this for the purpose of discussing them in an internal meeting.

And although the embargo is still in force (until tomorrow), some influencers shared with viewers what the developers were planning.

Meeting of LoL partners

It’s normal for developers of various online games to talk to gamers, streamers, and YouTubers. Riot apparently had matured for it at last, and so viewers of many influencers could learn some information about the upcoming changes.

Riot plans to hold a global partner gathering to discuss changes to slow down the gameplay.

What will they be about? In the email received by the partners, the nerf of shield and heal by 10% was mentioned. It’s not everything. “Without going into details”, there are talks not only about the weakening of two stats, but also the towers and Baron Nashor.

This means that the game will be slowed down. The developers probably want to reduce the chance of a successful dive under an enemy turret, increase tank damage resistance and, most importantly, weaken healing and shield strength, but only by 10% so far.

There are many more changes, they concern characters, items, and runes, the document itself has a dozen or so different points, about which, unfortunately, we cannot write about until the embargo is in force.

Of course, these changes are not certain, although they were mentioned in the email and, there is still a question of discussions between LoL partners. Update 12.10 is scheduled for Wednesday, May 25, so the devs still have a lot of time to adjust the changes properly.
