It has been revealed which line of skins will be associated with the game’s summer event.
Summer events in League of Legends are created with more momentum, so many players look forward to them a lot. Events that take place during the summer are also longer and are often accompanied by elaborate lore – whether in terms of stories, animations, or visual novels. Various skins and new characters are also released.
Surely most LoL fans are familiar with such events, as there is a lot of publicity about them. And unfortunately, in this case, the publicity is not positive, as it is often associated with bugs, problems with servers or missions, or general complaints about the plot (here the finale of Ruination and the thread of the Destroyed King Vie is a great example).
As May has started, some people are already thinking about the announcement of the holiday event in League of Legends. What will it be related to this year? Will it develop the old series as it was in the case of Star Guardian, or will it touch on completely new themes?
New series of skins in League of Legends
An article appeared 2 months ago, showing dozens of concept graphics from Riot. Many of them showed Lux and Yasuo sporting outfits from the new series that the developers were considering – Dozens of concept skins for LoL straight from Riot Games. Some are really unique.
A well-known leaker in the League of Legends community – Big Bad Bear – reported that he has information about the upcoming summer event in the game. It turns out that at least 10 skins will be released during the event, and their main theme will be the Soul Fighter series, one of the concepts featured in the article above.

According to a leaker, the skins may be linked to the upcoming 2v2v2v2v2 game mode.
In addition, the Soul Fighters series is expected to introduce a new skin tier to League of Legends, which has been mentioned many times (see: There will be a new tier of skins in League of Legends. What do the latest leaks say?).
Big Bad Bear admitted that for now, he does not know who will receive the new skins, but as soon as there is some information on the subject, he will definitely inform the LoL community. Soul Fighters skins will appear on the test server around June 13, 2023.
