LoL’s developers have come up with some new skin concepts that may be coming to the game. What do they look like?
Despite the fact that there are quite a few well-known and well-loved skin themes in League of Legends, such as Star Guardian, High Noon, PROJECT, Dark Star, Spirit Blossom, and many more, Riot still has to come up with something new in order for the game to constantly evolve and offer players something interesting.
What goes into the store is only a fraction of all the concepts that are created by Riot’s graphic designers. Quite a few works never saw the light of day. Others were published only as concept sketches.
Here’s a sample of some graphics that reveal what series the game’s developers are working on.
New series of skins from LoL
A well-known League of Legends leaker – Big Bad Bear – has presented players with several concept graphics that come from Riot, so these are official drawings that were created by the studio’s staff. This does not mean, however, that every concept will be introduced into the game and usher in a new line of skins. However, there is a good chance that some of the ideas will actually make their way into LoL.
Mini Micro Medics
A new line of medical skins (a similar universe already exists in the game, including Nurse Akali and Surgeon Shen), which, according to the description, include doctors using modern technology.
Eternal Tapestry
Eternal Tapestry is a magical artifact competed for by daredevils taking part in a tournament. From the descriptions, it appears that the series may have references to chivalry and medieval fantasy.
Elfwood Valley
This line of skins is likely to be slightly reminiscent of the Faerie Cour fusion with Elderwood. Concepts indicate that the characters’ effects will be linked to the elements (in this case Lux – water, Yasuo – fire).
Spinning Out
“From every corner of the world, athletes gather to compete in the ultimate sport of grace, beauty, and elegance: ice skating.” – This is the description of the skins in the Spinning Out series. Cosmetic additions that make characters move on skates seem like a great idea for a winter series of skins.
Spy Family
The latest skin concept revealed is Spy Family, a universe in which two groups of agents compete against each other.
Which of the series presented above will actually make it to League of Legends? It’s hard to choose the best one, so it remains to be seen what Riot will decide on. Quite a few of the concepts presented above have a lot of potential for an interesting line of skins that could appeal to players and, consequently, sell well.
