LoL is facing a lot of problems. There are a lot of negative posts on the web about the gameplay.
In the League of Legends community, there have always been many voices of discontent. Currently, however, there are really a lot of posts on the web, which show that the game is not in the best condition and in many places it could use improvements.
Fans write, among other things, about the recent queue changes, which made the game unplayable for some, and about smurfs, which are more numerous than ever in ranked games.
LoL problems
There are really a lot of posts on the web about the new queue and autofill changes. From now on, you can’t choose any two roles – one of them must be a priority. Players complain that this is practically tantamount to a permanently turned-on autofill, or even worse.
I put my main role as top and I have to pick jungler or bot as secondary so I just put fill and I have not got my main role in forever. If riot just wants to force everyone to autofill then this is definitely the way to do it, but it doesn’t solve the main issue at all. Saying it has autofill disabled is also misleading since now you have no choice, but to choose an autofill role. Which servers the exact same purpose as autofill…
There are statements in the comments about the changes that confirm the author’s thoughts. Fans write that Riot, in making the changes, really just removed the ability to select the middle lane as a second role, making it far more common to get your first selection.
A lot is also written about smurfs. Players point out that in practically every game in the platinum, you can find a low-level account that performs significantly better than the rest.
What happened to smurf queue? Playing in Plat 3 and it’s completely normal for there to be at least 2, but usually 3 – or sometimes even 4… very low leveled accounts (talking level 30-40 with weird summoner names- bought accounts im guessing) that completely dominate games and the game usually ends up boiling down to more of which team has the better smurfs then anything.
The above post also garnered quite a few comments in which players confirmed the author’s words. So these are not observations that would apply to just one player. An additional problem is that a smurf doesn’t care about its rank, so if you upset them in the slightest by accident, it might happen that they just start deliberately feeding the opposing team, and lose the game as a result.
Fans write that playing without smurfs in platinum or lower diamond is a definite rarity. Everything translates into a really poor gameplay experience, and many players prefer to simply take a break from Riot’s title until something changes. For fans who are waiting for fixes, there is hope, as recently it was possible to learn about the LoL developers’ plans against smurfing (Riot promises to work on solving League of Legends’ smurfing problem).
