Changes that should not have been made to the League of Legends live servers. The players are not even surprised anymore
Riot made a fatal mistake introducing changes to their live servers that shouldn’t even appear on the PBE.
League of Legends regularly receives updates, which not only contain fixes focusing on the balance of heroes, but also changes that refresh individual characters or their skins. Often, unfortunately, the patch also includes more and less serious bugs that, depending on their scale, can have a significant impact on the gameplay.
This time around, what Riot has mistakenly put on the main servers is rather fun and won’t do much damage to the games. What exactly was the designer’s mistake?
What went to the live servers?
Recently, it was possible to look at abominations that depicted old textures of heroes with new models. This absurd-looking combination caused the community to laugh a lot (A way to create a monster – adding new textures to the old character model from LoL).
Riot accidentally introduced new textures of the updated Udyr to the test servers but forgot to implement the new model at the same time. It made the hero look really weird. However, no one expected the same changes to hit live servers.
The bug will most likely be fixed very quickly, however, the mere fact that it has made its way onto the live servers is something that should not be the case. Some fans jokingly wrote that they weren’t even surprised by how often these kinds of mishaps happen to Riot.
Aside from a mistakenly introduced texture change to Udyr, there’s a much less noticeable error in the description of one of Jhin’s abilities.
Bugged ability descriptions don’t even impress me anymore. Virtually every patch has a skill that is poorly described.

Banned tooltips are something players encounter relatively often. Heroes’ abilities are usually misspelled in the places where the calculated damage should be.
User FlamecitoUwU writes that about two weeks ago he was killed by Aphelios who used @/Weapon2_WeaponSpell_name1/@. Death descriptions are another place where you can very often find strange names that shouldn’t be visible to the average player. While Riot is certainly working to keep them looking their best, there are some flaws in virtually every players’ game.
