You can unlock the World Champions Emote – EDG in the League of Legends client store.
Chinese eSports Edward Gaming won the title of World Champions last year. They won the most important tournament in LoL – Worlds. Winning such an event is a dream come true for many professional players. No wonder fans of the team are proud and celebrate the achievement of their favorites many months after winning.
The topic of EDG was raised again as team skins were recently announced. The winners chose the following Heroes: Viego, Aphelios, Yuumi, Zoe, and Graves. There is even a special tab in the client on the Chinese server, where you can see new skins in an aesthetic edition (see: How is the release of the latest EDG team skins celebrated on the Chinese LoL server?).
Skins referring to the members of the Edward Gaming team are not everything. Players can also unlock an emote to celebrate their World Cup victory.

In the LoL client store, in the Accessories tab, you can find an icon referring to Edward Gaming’s victory in Worlds 2021.
The icon is available for a limited time (as are other esports icons, including those related to MSI). Its price is 2500 Blue Essence.

Once unlocked, the icon is assigned to the “rare” category. Many players will probably be interested in this cosmetic add-on because each new icon counts for the “Rift Icon” challenge, which consists in collecting the previously mentioned cosmetics.
The player with the nickname minivan also informed that the EDG icons cannot be obtained from rolling others, so it is even more worth taking an interest in it.
