Few people know that Discord is replacing links that look suspicious.
Overwatch, while not very popular today, has found an unusual way of trolling vulgar and toxic people. Typing “ez” in the chat automatically replaces the messages with those that are in no way annoying.
Discord came up with something similar. Whenever the platform sees suspicious links, it automatically replaces them with recipes, e.g. for pasta.
Sometimes it’s quite weird
This Discord’s approach makes conversations really weird at times. Especially when you talk to someone on DM, you want to send him something and a recipe for pasta appears.
A person receives information that the file may contain viruses, and Discord sends a recipe for beef instead. This happens mainly with links, but also with sent documents, etc.
