CS: GO suffers from several minor and major ills that have not been fixed for years. This is definitely one of them.
There are some classic bugs in CS that everyone has experienced at least once. They also include the disappearance of the C4, seeing enemies through the smoke, or bugs in the textures. What literally happened to everyone is that the shooting direction was incorrectly marked.
It usually happens once every now and then, but recently there is more and more information that it has happened to someone. It’s hard to say if this has started happening more or if players have just become more aware of its existence.
What is it about?
This bug was shown, among others, by a Reddit user with the nickname “neznam_us”. The shot direction indicator was pointing to a place where no one was.
Reddit users admit that this has happened more and more recently. Many people say it has escalated in the last month.
And it may well be true. Maybe the last update is responsible, or maybe not – Valve, unfortunately, does not write directly about the bugs, so we can only guess here.
