Valve will soon release the next wave of Counter Strike 2 accesses for a simple reason

Why are more CS fans likely to get access to the new installment soon?

CS 2 is quite popular at this point, as it is a continuation of one of the most recognizable series of FPS games. Valve has allowed the first players who played the previous installment, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, to play the title refreshed with the Source 2 engine, by giving away access to the beta.

However, many fans have not yet had the opportunity to test the new title, as they have not received it from Valve. This may soon change, however.

Another wave of invitations to CS 2?

There has been a relative buzz about the new installment of CS since beta testing began. However, many fans were disappointed that despite how long they’ve been with the FPS from Valve, they didn’t get access to the new title.

So far, access has already been granted to some players, but many are still waiting for Counter-Strike 2 to appear in the library on Steam. For this part of the community, however, there is hope. A user with the nickname spoongers writes that it is very common to run into the same players in games.

DM servers are full of bots, in competetive games there are not many players too. There is 95% chance that you will meet same people in next game. Hype is almost dead as you can see for example on twitch. Players are bored with playing only d2 and without their friends.

Both the author and commenting players mention that they definitely miss a larger selection of maps. Another problem is the relatively small pool of testers, a good portion of whom have already grown bored with playing alone. Fans anticipate that more maps will be added to CS 2 soon, and the studio will hand out access to another portion of players to make the game famous again.

For the moment, these are just speculations, but all indications are that Valve will soon take further steps on the new CS so that the community will not forget about it.
