The esports world is starting to take matters into its own hands. One of the largest tournaments has officially confirmed that it will not allow Russian organizations to play.

S1mple called for esports to be beyond divisions. It is worth mentioning that there are Russian players in the Ukrainian NAVI. This was supposed to be an example that the Russians themselves are not to blame for what Vladimir Putin is doing.

Esport decided to exclude not so much all Russian players, but the organizations themselves. NAVI at the same time severed all relations with the Russian Virtus.Pro.

It seems that esports is no longer passive as well. Recall that Ukrainian players are now getting automatic bans on some Polish servers. Now BLAST’s message (one of the largest tournaments in the world) has appeared, which informs that Russian organizations are banned from participation.
