What might the next game mode that will appear in the new CS installment be?
CS 2 continues everything players have known from previous installments of one of the most popular representatives of the FPS game genre. The upcoming production of the Valve studio uses the new Source 2 engine, and the developers are most likely planning to recreate everything that fans have become accustomed to, and on top of that to spice it up with new things, such as game modes, maps, and certainly skins.
Due to the fact that the beta has already opened and access to CS 2 has already gone to some fans, you can check out what game modes are already included in the new CS installment, and trailers have shown what else will be coming to it. Now one player has shared what he managed to find in the console – his discovery points to the appearance of a new mode in the game.
One CS fan’s discovery
A user with the nickname poggu__ on social media shared a short video with the community, showing what the upcoming co-op mode for the game might be all about. Killing an opponent adds 20 seconds of time, and failing to defeat them within a certain amount of time makes the mission fail.
CS2 already includes the Co-op Strike (terrorhunt) gamemode, currently in a semi-broken state due to missing configs and maps. Possibly for the “upcoming” operation?
The author predicts that the mode may be tied to the first operation to be released with the next installment of Counter-Strike. Until then, however, a lot can certainly still change.
