Counter Strike 2 Beta: How to get access, what matters, what’s in the beta – everything you need to know

Valve not only announced Counter Strike 2. The beta also starts today.

Without further ado, accounts for the beta are selected by Valve. You don’t need to sign up, register, etc. It’s enough if you have played a lot of CS. From the official website, it is known that the developers, or rather the system, take into account such things as:

  • Game time
  • Trust factor
  • Steam account status

What do you need to know about the beta?

You will receive information that you got into the beta in the main menu of the game.

So it is a completely automatic system that will not require any sign-up etc. The beta is expected to last until release and from what Valve writes, players will be added to it on a regular basis.

The entire FAQ contains some important information, but the most important – all cosmetic items, including skins, etc. will be transferred. Valve itself writes that you will be able to use things you already own in the beta.

Everything is transferred 1: 1 in total, i.e. people banned in CS: GO will not play CS2.
