Should Valve’s developers tackle the M4A1-S nerf? The community is divided.

The M4A1-S has always been a controversial weapon that has already been modified by developers many times. We are talking here primarily about its power, rate of fire, and range. The last change was on September 21, last year, when the damage it deals was increased. Now players are again complaining that the M4 with a silencer gives too much advantage to counter-terrorists, although some are already bored with the constant fixes.

Should developers introduce further changes?

One of the CS: GO community members wrote on Reddit that the CT side had too significant an advantage because of the M4 and therefore the weapon should be nerfed. To strengthen his argument, he also added a graph that shows the distribution of forces on individual maps in the game:

It is very clear that the CT side has a better chance of winning in individual rounds than the attacking team. On the other hand, according to many opinions, it is completely natural and players should get used to it:

In addition, part of the community is irritated by the fact that the M4A1-S still has some problems, and Valve’s developers make changes every now and then:

There is really no “golden mean” that makes all CS: GO maps perfectly balanced. Valve interferes with the M4A1-S too often, which is not a solution in the long run.
