A professional CSGO player couldn’t have anticipated it, but at least a fun meme came out of it
Shox definitely couldn’t have predicted this. At least it amused the CS: GO community, which made a meme of the whole situation.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is unpredictable, as probably every player of this title has already found out. Often a lot is down to luck, so there are unfortunate times in the game that amuse the community, which later creates memes out of them.
This was the case with the incident with shox, who was really close to finishing the map with a victory.

The match took place just a few days ago, but it was not long before the community reacted. Below you can view the meme that was posted on Reddit by “killer_bao99”. He shows what shox would sound like if he tried to explain the whole situation. Indeed, he was totally helpless and could not have foreseen it.
If it hadn’t been for shox’s misfortune, the match would have ended in this round. Complexity, however, started leading to a comeback, and eventually, Overpass ended with the score of 16:11 for Liquid.
This is another proof that Counter-Strike is unpredictable and that at any moment something surprising can happen that will turn the tide of the round, or maybe even the whole match.
