Virtus.pro changed a scene from The Lord of the Rings and pissed off CSGO players

Virtus.pro posted a changed scene from the Lords of the Rings on its social media. This one aroused great controversy.

The Russian organization Virtus.pro and Gambit have been banned in connection with the sanctions imposed on Russia by the conflict in Ukraine. As a result, players cannot appear under the banner of their organization in many tournaments, such as in Major.

The Bears posted a controversial remake of the Lord of the Rings scene on their social media. As a result, a large wave of hate fell on them.

Virtus.pro is calling its community to fight?

The decision to ban Virtus.pro obviously did not appeal to the organization and its fans from Russia. For this reason, they have posted the following remake of the scene from The Lord of the Rings, in which they argue that this is not the day when the CIS era or the organization itself collapses, and they intend to fight back. And, in addition, they call their community to help with that.

Fans of VP, Outsiders, my brothers. I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when we will no longer be in VP, when we forsake our fans and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An era of bans and dull majors when the age of CIS comes crushing down, but it is not this day! This day, we fight! By all that you gold dear on this good earth. I bid you stand, the Bears!

Video

The video was negatively received by members of the CS community from Ukraine and other Western countries.

Virtus.pro did not respond to any of the comments but may have noticed that there is not much support from the CS: GO community. It can be expected that no more of these types of posts will appear on their social media.
