A minor detail that Counter-Strike 2 players are paying attention to. What change are they asking the developers to make?

A detail in the interface of the next Counter-Strike installment that players are clamoring for a change.

CS 2 is really just an improvement on what players have come to know in previous installments of one of the most popular FPS on the market. There are many characteristic elements in the game that have been carried over to the latest installment, but quite a few of them have been refreshed.

Among the changes was the interface familiar to players, to which fans would still make additional improvements. What exactly is it all about?

What’s wrong with the interface?

A post by a user with the nickname workerq1 has appeared online, in which he complains about a minor aesthetic element of the new interface. He wrote that he doesn’t like the fact that the weapons displayed on the right side, showing the player’s inventory, are now inverted, which simply doesn’t look good, according to the author.

Can we get the gun icons to flip to other side like CSGO? It was perfect and now it looks so offsetting.

Small details, such as the direction in which weapons are pointed, are important to CS players. While many fans agreed with the author, there are plenty of statements in the comments that suggest it’s not really that important and just takes some getting used to.

There was also no shortage of statements on why this should be improved.

I think it looks wrong – the thickest part should be on the border side of the monitor, with the barrel facing outward so that everything goes from thinnest through thicker to thickest. In CS 2 it’s completely different – thick, thin, and then thicker.

At this point, it is difficult to say whether the developers will respond to the post. There has been no comment on it from the developer. However, there is a good chance that the developers will change what players are asking for with future updates. CS 2 is only a beta and Valve still has a long way to go before production is fully released.
