The legendary Verdansk map is coming to Warzone 2? Everything that is known about it

Rumors regarding an old map from Warzone that may make its way into Warzone 2.

Older Call of Duty: Warzone players are well aware of the Vardansk map, which was removed some time ago. Its place was taken by Caldera, and recently the Al Mazrah area shone in the spotlight. After the launch, many people said there was no chance of Verdansk returning.

Now, however, there is a chance that this map will indeed return to the PC version of Warzone. The community has discovered an interesting easter egg on the skin for the operator – Reyes.

Verdansk will return to Warzone 2?

The Al Mazrah map recently appeared in Warzone 2. It has been praised by both streamers and casual players, who find it very enjoyable to play. However, many people still mention Verdansk with fondness. At this point, Activision has not made an official statement on whether the map will actually return, but gamers have their own theory.

A post from player tiktokalnuke appeared on Reddit with a tidbit about the new skin for the operator. It turns out that there is a piece of the now-deleted map on his forearm. It can be seen when the weapon check animation is activated.

Such tidbits raise many questions. For what reason do the developers introduce a piece of the Verdansk map into the operator that will appear in the new Al Mazrah map? Probably, this is a mere curiosity and in the near future players will not see Reyes falling on this map. This does not mean, however, that fans will never see it in the game. A mobile version of Warzone will premiere in 2023. The developers have already announced that battles will take place right there in the Verdansk area.
