Activision removed streamer’s package from Call of Duty over his LGBTQ+ comments

Activision has completely removed a package of Nickmercs, one of the popular streamers, from Call of Duty. All because of his comment on Twitter.

The streamer, who is followed by more than 6.7 million people on Twitch, commented on the post regarding “Pride Month.” He probably didn’t think he would fall foul of Activision by doing so. His tweet was deemed harmful, and so much so that the company withdrew the streamer’s package from Call of Duty.

Opinions on this vary, while here Activision did not want to completely address the topic, even this was somehow not particularly commented on:

Streamer package disappears from Call of Duty

It’s about this tweet exactly:

Some people think it’s something nightmarish, others swiped and moved on. It is well known that such things polarize people a lot, as perfectly shown by the fact that the views of the streamer’s response were several times higher than the original tweet.

The streamer later explained his point of view during the broadcast. He does not intend to apologize. Other streamers were in no small shock to learn that Activision had made such a decision:
