A TikToker woman used glue instead of eye drops and ended up in the hospital.
TikTok is currently one of the largest social media platforms on which virtually everything appears. Nevertheless, there is no shortage of things that can surprise. In the past, there was a high-profile story about a user who used a special spray adhesive on her hair after mistaking it for hairspray.
Similar packaging of products with completely different purposes can bring trouble to more than a few people, as shown by another incident that was publicized online. One TikTok user shared an unpleasant incident that happened to her – she mistook a glue similar to the well-known eye drops.
Glue instead of eye drops
TikToker Jennifer Eversole known as MamaEversole is the most recent example of someone who suffered as a result of mistaking an item for another that was in a similar package after she used a small quick-drying glue instead of eye drops. She described the whole incident on TikTok while warning others about what she had done.

Since its publication, the video has been viewed more than 4 million times, and about 1,000 users decided to share their thoughts in the comments. There was no shortage of contributions from people who found themselves in a similar situation or were literally one move away from it.
I did the same thing, but I realized what I was doing when I was about to drop it into my eye and it hit next to me. It was close.
There was also no shortage of comments in which users wondered how such a situation could have happened at all. One of them wrote that his glue was standing in a completely different place than the eye drops.
Generally speaking, this is not the first such occurrence and is unlikely to be the last, looking at the fair number of statements from people who have been in a similar situation. It just goes to show how important it is to pay attention to what you are doing even in such simple activities as using eye drops.
