The Witcher 3 will soon be updated to the new generation. The exact date

It won’t be long before all Witcher 3 owners will be able to play on the next generation.

For several weeks now, many people around the world have been writing about the “next gen” for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. CD Projekt announced the update for 2022, and this meant that it should appear soon.

In fact, it did, and an announcement about the upcoming patch was just shared on The Witcher’s official Twitter profile. It turns out that there will be a big graphics change as early as December.

Witcher 3 next gen

While the graphics in CD Projekt Red’s masterpiece can still impress, a lot has changed in the gaming world since May 2015. Several new generations of cards have been created, and they no longer have a hard time seeing Geralt and the crew. It is worth noting that The Witcher was a great hardware benchmark just a few years ago, and the “frames” achieved in this production were eagerly presented to customers.

This may happen again, and it will be due to the upcoming graphics update. Among other things, Ray Tracking and improved graphics will be introduced on Play Station 5 and Xbox Series X consoles. Similar changes will also hit desktop computers.

This will take place on December 14, 2022. This means that in a month’s time, fans of the adventures of the most famous monster hunter will head to the servers to download the patch, and for the next few days or weeks, they will experience new Velen, Skellige, and many other locations.
