The voice of Geralt of Rivia decided to reveal who he prefers in The Witcher 3. Did he choose Yennefer or Triss?
A few years after the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the production of CD Projekt Red has once again been in the news. It’s all due to a major update improving graphics and adding some content.
One of the main decisions made in the game is the choice between Yennefer and Triss. The two sorceresses differ in character, and it is up to the player to ultimately decide whom he prefers. Who did the English voice of Geralt bet on, though?
Yennefer, or maybe Triss?
The conflict between fans of the lilac- and gooseberry-scented Yennefer and the Fourteenth of the Soden Hill Triss have been going on since Andrzej Sapkowski’s books appeared. It intensified even more when The Witcher 3 was released and the player had to decide in it which sorceress Geralt would spend the rest of his life with.
Now the voice of Geralt has spoken out about his choice. In an interview with xboxon on TikTok, he played the role of the Witcher and acknowledged that while he loves the two heroines, he would be more inclined to bond with Triss Merigold.
Everything here depends on players’ preferences. In the game, Triss is portrayed in a romantic way and is simply nice to Geralt. As for Yen, on the other hand, although she can sometimes show feelings, she is usually firm and treats the witcher in a cold way.
