If you were hoping for a quick release of the Witcher 1 remake, you will be severely disappointed.
Probably all Witcher players are waiting for the remake announced some time ago. Unfortunately, the previous reports have now been officially confirmed. There is no expectation that the remake will appear anytime soon.
CDPR has announced several of its projects and wants to pursue them quietly. However, what does “quietly” mean? Among other things, it means that the remake will not come out first. First, the developers will release a project called Polaris, or, most simply, The Witcher 4.

From English sources, including thegamer, it is known that the remake will be released after The Witcher 4. This is not some amazing news, because it could have been guessed from previous announcements, but it is nevertheless quite sad news for all those who have been waiting.
Recall that The Witcher 4 is rumored to be released in 3 years at best. This information also comes from CDPR. So this is very sad news. Here 3 years, then another break until the remake – it’s hard to even suspect when it will be released.
That is, of course, if nothing changes in this matter and CDPR does not suddenly start working much harder. By then, however, everyone will probably have forgotten that something like this is even in the plans.
