How does CDPR make fun of the serialized Witcher? The developers clearly did it on purpose

CDPR has smuggled something very interesting in the latest trailer for the next-gen The Witcher.

Opinions on the Witcher series are plentiful. Players at yesterday’s show noticed that CDPR picked up on one of the themes that has been much talked about. It might seem that this is simply a reference to the series, while the message on Twitter leaves no illusions.

For those who are completely unfamiliar, the series featured a Nilfgaard armor that had a very specific design. It was even dubbed “Ballsack Armour” by fans. To understand, all you have to do is see it:

Ultimately, this armor was removed from the series, but as we now learn, it will be introduced in the next-gen version of The Witcher.

A joke on CDPR’s part

In one of the shots, you can see that the armor has been transferred directly into the game. Of course, this caused a lot of excitement.

Gamers rather laugh at this, and they are not the only ones. One could speculate here whether it’s on purpose or whether it’s some kind of reference, but CDPR itself is laughing at it:

You can see that CDPR has a sense of humor, but it was known for a long time.
