A new event has started in Pokemon GO, and with it, the players have received new tasks with rewards.
Each new event in the game is a great opportunity to get additional items, experience points, candies, and, of course, new Pokemon. This time is no different. A few days ago, the creators announced that the next event in Pokemon GO will be the Water Festival, which is, as you can easily guess – an event focusing on water-type creatures. On this occasion, new species appeared in the game, and the well-known and liked Lapras appeared in a version with a scarf. In addition, players can perform themed tasks and win interesting prizes.

In the announcements of the event it was mentioned that players will receive themed task sets. Here they are:
Catch Challenge – Timed Research
- Catch 15 Pokemon: 20 x PokeBall
- Catch 50 Pokemon: 25 x Great Ball
- Catch 25 Water Pokémon: 25 x Ultra Ball
- Do 25 Curveball Throws: Dewpider
- Catch 10 different species of Pokémon: 50 x Gyarados Mega Energy
Rewards: Lapras in a scarf, 1000 x Stardust, 1000 XP

- Catch 5 Pokemon: Magikarp or Wailmer
- Catch 5 Water Pokémon: 10 x PokeBall or 5 x Great Ball
